R.A. on Instagram and Facebook

  Richard Armitage has joined the rest of us... alright some of us...  maybe most of us, on the Dark Side by joining Instagram and Facebook. Yes, you have correctly read that he has now entrenched himself with the rest of us in the world of social media and is using my new favorite picture of himself as his avatar on both of these sites as well as on Twitter. I have even made my first contact with him on his Facebook page by welcoming him to the Dark Side. Trying to be funny but it may not have worked. Also I may join Instagram if only to follow Richard. I will still have to think about that. I wish him well on these sites and enjoys them. So let us go on and enjoy, encourage and help Richard as he tries to get around social media just like we do with our friends who sometimes need help and ourselves when we need help.

Richard Armitage Christmas Message - 2015

 A few minutes ago Richard Armitage, on his Twitter page, gave his annual Christmas message of gratefulness to us, his fans, in supporting him as an actor and supporting his charities; to remind us of what we have and to be more giving to those who are not as lucky as we; and for teaching me that a certain so-called politician's name is another name for "fart" (and very apt). Granted Richard did not name names but I figured it out and then went and double checked. Got to love British slang. Finally he wishes us enjoyment of our family, a Happy Christmas, love, luck and generosity for the coming year. May Richard and you have many blessings for the remainder of 2015 and in 2016.

'Star Wars' Fan

 I had made one post and then thought I had screwed up and that it is not Richard in the 'Star Wars' jacket and deleted that post. I have since found I was right about this being Richard in the 'Star Wars' Jacket and being right in geeking over the jacket as well. This is from Richard's Twitter page. Makes sense he would like 'Star Wars',besides being uncredited pilot in one of the later movies, because the first movie came out when he was five years old. So yes I can imagine him geeking out over 'Star Wars' too.

Richard Clarifies

Earlier today Richard thought that he need to clarify his reasoning for an earlier tweet late Tuesday night. (My post on it ) . Personally I don't think he needed to have done this but since he felt this way makes me admire him even more as a person.
