A nice and early Valentine's present from Richard Armitage and Audible.com
Richard is reading some of his favorite classic love poems in Classic Love Poems by William Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe and Elizabeth Barret Browning and lucky for us it is free at Amazon.com .
Wonderful way to relax and feel loved with Richard's warm voice washing over us when he is reading to us.

Just accidentally stumbled across this thirty second video of Richard of Project Magazine project. Incredibly masculin, but thirty seconds is not long enough I need and want more.

Richard Armitage - Pour Some Sugar on Me
Fresh off the video presses to make your Friday the 13th better, a Richard Armitage fan video set to Def Leppard's 'Pour Some Sugar on Me' by lotorsgurl. The video and song are ran back-to-back to make it 7minutes and 46 seconds long. But who cares? I don't. This video also works for Guyday because there is more pictures of Guy than any other of Richard's characters.

Richard As Batman?
This week came word that the Man of Steel will join forces with the Dark Knight for the Superman sequel and almost immediately Richard Armitage is on the shortlist, or short wish list, to be Batman to Henry Cavill's Superman.
I am kind of on board with the prospect of Richard being Batman because he has already played a Dark Knight of sorts with Guy of Gisborne, who was a Black Knight, but I'm worried about Richard being typed cast as an action hero type without being allowed, by who ever, to stretch and show his traditional acting skills that we know he has.
I know that he is on the wish list of fans that are familiar with a remake of a 1970's period piece, that I can not think of the name of for nothing in the world, that would love to see Richard in the title role. Plus there is also those that want Richard as Matthew Clairmont in 'A Discovery of Witches' and if I ever finish up my post about that book you will find out why I think that would be a good idea. It will more than likely be a naive point of view, but that's me.
Anyway back to casting Batman. In addition to Richard making the list there is also Ryan Gosling, who is too short and skinny and who I find to be not all that attractive, nothing in particular other than he is a blond and he is not Daniel Craig or Robert Plant the only two blonds that I really like. A young Robert Plant late 1960's through the 1970's , oh my G_d,you talk about being gobsmacked and he's old enough to be my father.
Where was I? Oh yes, Richard's competition for Batman. Ryan Gosling, as I said before; True Bloods Joe Manganiello, talk about being able to fill out the batman suit; Josh Brolin...WHY? I'm befuddled on that one. Max Martini, eh, not really seeing it.Plus Max is a ginger...no, no, no. Male gingers need not apply. And the last one is Matthew Goode, who I keep seeing as a bit of a dark haired Macaulay Culkin mixed with maybe a bit of Dana Carvey. The only reason he seems to be on the list is that he worked in Zack Snyder's, named director of 'Man of Steel 2', 2009 movie 'Watchmen' as Ozymandias. I guess nepotism is being hoped for in this case.

New Pics From The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
With The Desolation of Smaug coming out on December 13more promotional pictures are coming out as to , what I am assuming, is a six promotional fest. Not that I am complaining, that much, yet, because we have been getting a few more new pictures released every so often. That is probably to pacify us because The Desolation of Smaug is probably going to be more about the elves. That's another short post. Anyway, the pictures are from Empire magazine and so far it seems to be mainly about the elves. There is one of Bilbo being front and center in conversation with Peter Jackson and then there is one of our majestically handsome and fearless leader, Thorin not front but kind of center being given direction by Peter Jackson and the rest of the pictures concern the elves.
Thranduil
I swear Thranduil (Lee Pace) looks like the Lucius Mafoy of Middle Earth. Here he is with Legolas (Orlando Bloom)
Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly)
Orlando's eyes look weird in this picture. It's almost looks like he's possessed. Plus I thought his eyes were brown not blue.
Now here is the one of Martin getting his direction form Peter Jackson. Bilbo and the dwarves seem to bewearing bed robes. Actually, Bilbo looks like he is wearing Thorin's coat minus the mantel.
The best for last Thorin and company being told how to ride a barrel by Mr. jackson.

Richard Armitage reads Winnie in Winter
Going through my email and this video was shared on the Richard Armitage community board. This is another CBeebies Bedtime Stories from October 2006 in which Richard reads us a bedtime story called Winnie in Winter .It is a sweet story about a witch named Winnie and her cat Wilbur who one cold winter day decide they have enough of the cold and snow and want it to be summer. At this point Richard waves a wand about (insert very nice dirty thought you have here) and said a magical word and it was summer in Winnie's garden and every person came to enjoy it. I'm spoiling it for y'all, I'm sorry, I'll let Richard tell it. But one last thing at the end oh my Guy! To have Richard tell me it is time to snuggle up in bed too and night, night, sleep tight, especially if he's there would be such a good sleep
