Looking into RA's Past and See the Present

Some of the latest pictures of Richard has been reminding me of past photos and drawings of Richard in the past. I wanted to share the, what is probably  my own, .....craziness? Observation? Yes observation sounds much nicer and makes me feel like I am not seeing things.

I knew when I saw the latest picture of Richard as Raymond de Merville in the upcoming movie 'Pilgrimage' that I knew I had seen this look or if not a very similar look before in a piece of fanart related to King Richard III. I was correct. The latest image of Richard reminded me of GiztheGunslinger's drawing of our Richard as Richard III. There are similarities so  I put them side by side with a little different filtering over them. What do you think?

Now what started my line of thought was the release of 'Urban and the Shed Crew
video and the stills of Richard as Chop wearing the knitted cap. This photo reminded me of Richard as John Standring in the beginning of 'Sparkhouse', but happier.

So right or wrong these are my two cents. If anything I do hope you enjoyed the photos.

Tuchus Tuesday #27

If you remember last week's Tuchus Tuesday post I mentioned that I had been looking at pictures of Richard as Dr. Alec Track in The Golden Hour and as John Standring in Sparkhouse for a Tuesday Tuchus, but there was no great tuchas shots because of the flightsuit and work clothes. This led me to nickname The Saggy Bottom Boys. Bless their hearts. So with that in mind, I went and made the The Saggy Bottom Boys collage. Only two pictures but that is okay. It is meant with love.

Favorite British Artist of the Year Award 2013

late last night, I think through an email link, I found on Youtube a contest for the Favorite British Artist of the Year 2013 Award put on by The Anglophile Channel. What is needed to be done is to vote for your favorite British artist i.e.  Richard Armitage five times a day on different social media sites. Youtube link( if you don't click on the video and go to the site because that is where full information on how to vote can be found under "About" and by clicking "ShowMore")  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gg3OmDKT-II . All you need to do on twitter is #AnglophileAward #RichardArmitage. This morning The Anglophile Channel Twitter page @AnglophileTV  tweeted that the Armitage Army is coming out in full force. We are a force to be reckoned with. If we can help Bilbo Baggins take down Snow White (that was the movie character wasn't it?) at the MTV Movie Awards we can most certainly get our man the award. Right? Right.  Also there is the Facebook page for The Anglo Channel as well.  https://www.facebook.com/TheAnglophileChannel

So with this information go and nominate #RichardArmitage for Favorite British Artist 20113.

Munchable Monday #4

I am not all to familiar with Richard's character John Standring from 'Sparkhouse'  From what little I have read online and from what others have told me it is a remake or a close modern retelling of 'Wuthering Heights'. So even though and maybe even because I don't know much about John Standring, I thought I would put him in a Munchable Monday post. Wondr if Richard had chest hair then? I know, I know. I'll get that post soon enough.
