Tuchus Tuesday #18

Better late than never with Tuchus Tuesday. To start with is a Guy gif so not only do you get the tuchus you get the front. The second one is one that of a still that I somehow managed to get from the gif to edit and I don't know how I managed to get the right kind of picture considering I wanted to edit the coloring of the gif.

But happy chances is what I have and enjoy. ☺

Vote in the Anglo Fan Tournament, Men of 2013 : Round 1 Richard Armitage vs Benedict Cumberbatch

BBC America is running its annual tournament on the sexiest or most preferred Englishman, with a few Irishmen thrown in because of London cred. Last year's winner was Tom Hiddleston and he is defending his title against 31 other men starting with Benedict Cumberbatch and Richard Armitage. For my personal taste, with this pairing to choose from right off the bat, BBC America is being a total bastard because I love both men beyond comprehension & is making me go eeny, meemy, miny, moe. I did pick Richard first but Benedict is in the lead with 57.26%  and Richard has 42.74%. So go and make your choice and I hope you have an easier time of it than me.

Five Handsome Dwarves

Forgive me for all of these The Hobbit blitz posts that I have done today. I hope you can stand another one. This one is from Dwalin himself, Graham McTavish from a few minutes ago. This time we FINALLY get one of Richard with some of the other dwarves in a very casual setting.

Say "CHEEESE", gentlemen.

Richard Armitage,  Mark Hadlow, Graham McTavish, Jed Brophy and Peter Hambleton

It's a Wrap

1.14am.

Back with Mr. Smudge. A long day. A great day. Thank you all for being a part of it! Now it's time for some sleep!

Another Peter Jackson Update - Thorin

 From Sir Peter Jackson:

Big Richard, Medium Richard and Little Richard

2.00pm. Just breaking for lunch, with the first shot on F Stage complete. A daunting number to go.  I don't want to think about it, but it is probably 7 or 8 set-ups. Splinter Unit have made the move to K Stage and will start shooting after lunch.

I asked the various Thorins to pose just before they headed off to lunch, one of these is Richard Armitage...

Richard just keeps shrinking

Hello it's me ☺☺ I did make a comment in Sir Peter's comment section "I bet Little Richard (the musician) doesn't know that is what he looks like from behind. Sorry, I couldn't resist." I don't think Sir Peter would have gotten upset so to be on the safe side is why I said I was sorry.

Also from the back he looks a bit like one of those orc that killed Boromir from Lord of the Rings and maybe a little bit of a Klingon.

The Hobbit Chipmunk version

I felt  guilty thinking that parts of this video was cute,b ut I will say that Kili and Fili at the door with their voices deepened did a little something to me - they are Thorin's nephews after all.

Precious Came

My precious came yesterday. I haven't started reading it yet, but I hope to start soon. I will say it is not exactly how I thought it would be. In the description it said that The Hobbit was from 1938 and I thought that it was literally from 1938, as it turns out this is 1996 print of the book; which is a good thing because I was worried about getting a tie-in to the movie version. Really I don't know what that would be like, just worried that it would not be true to Mr. Tolkien's version. Another thing, I wasn't expecting it to be as short as in stature as itit is, but Thorin, Kili and Fili has taught us that good things do come in small packages.

Last Day of Shooting The Hobbit

From Sir Peter Jackson's Facebook page came the news that today is their last day of shooting. Sad time for us fans and actors but at least now they can hopefully relax before going on their own adventure.

Sir Peter Jackson's photo of  6 Thorin Fight Stage 2 Rehearsal 21 July

"Our last day of shooting.

Ever since starting these blogs, there's been something I'd like to try one day ( as well as answering the other 19 questions I owe you!) - blogging throughout a shoot day in real time . Try to give you a feeling for what we deal with on an average day.

Today is not an "average" , given it is our last day of shooting but if I don't do it today ; I never will..."

Munchable Monday #7

Been a while since our last Munchable Monday and I didn't realize how bad I had the munchies until I saw this photo on Facebook that was posted by Candy  and yes that is her name.

  Yummy picture for all.

I went and did just a little playing around with the photo of Guy eating and it came out looking like something from a surveillance camera. Seems like Guy is stealing some of Vaisey's food the way the picture is done.

Thorin Thursday #2

I was just reminded by FedoraLady at the armitage effect that today is Thorin Thursday. I say today, at this late hour, because I still have just under two hours remaining in the day, but for those of you where it is Friday already, please forgive me for the late post.

I hope this makes up for it.

Richard Armitage at the Premiere of The World's End in Wellington

The Wellington, New Zealand premiere of Martin Freeman's movie The World's End took place recently and some of Martin's The Hobbit costars turned out for the event. This included Richard Armitage and Benedict Cumberbatch. Somebody get the three of them to work together in a Sherlock episode...PLEASE!!! Had to get that off my chest. Anyway pictures were taken and released, some of which I have found on RichardArmitageNet and Facebook ( yes I have gone to the dark side) and some I was able to get to my Photobucket King Richard album... So enjoy☺

Nuzzle time with his nose and neck. And is that a little tongue I see? ♥

Richard's hair is longer too. Oh to run my fingers through it.

I think Servetus of Me+RichardArmitage, is the one who really likes the photo below of Richard with his thumb in the air. Trying to hitchhike your way to me, Richard?♥  Oh and what about the shoes? Boots are you paying attention?☺

And now for my favorite two that just reinforce a Benedict/Martin/Richard Sherlockian acting project. The first one is very  blurry and has James Nesbitt with a glass of champagne and his back to the camera, Benedict Cumberbatch with his head down and of course Richard with what looks like a cell phone in one hand and maybe a ticket in the other. But even blurry Richard looks good.

And this last one is a Sherlock reunion on The Hobbit set.

Thorin Thursday #1

I have heard of this thing called 'Thorin Thursday' and I have thought about doing one every so often but have always decided not too, until now. Finding a loving take on Keep Calm and Carry On but of course with Thorin. In it he is holding the key to my heart and I will always love Thorin.

LOTR and The Hobbit Lunch Boxes

Just playing around on the web and I had looked up Doctor Who and found a sight called Entertainment Earth and when I found David Tennant's 10th Doctor action figure. With this the very quiet and hidden nerd girl in me interest was awaken so naturally I thought of The Hobbit and pretty soon I found my secret inner nerd girl coming out all over the place like a kid in the candy store and started posting things she found onto her Hobbit tumblr blog. and just knew it would not be enough and had to come here, even if it does seem childish, to share the goodies that made an impression that were found. Mainly it is three lunch boxes or as the sight calls them tin tote, because I did not think they were being made any more.

Now the first one that Secret Nerd Girl came across was Gandalf the grey lunch box from Lord of the Rings.

My second lunch box has my first crush from the Lord of the Rings, Aragorn

And then  I came across the somewhat ultimate lunch box with Kili in the foreground and our majestic Thorin Oakenshield in the background.  And that is when Secret Nerd Girl became Naughty Secret Nerd Girl with her thoughts and drools and grins and ...well, yeah, you get the idea because you have probably had similar thought and feelings. Here it is for us to do whatever over it.

THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG, Production Diary 11

Released today by Mr. Hobbit man himself, Sir Peter Jackson. Love the Dwarvicise  part of it, granted it would have been better with Richard in it. The make-up & hair designer, Peter King, looks a bit like Colonel Sanders, of Kentucky Fried Chicken, but with a full beard instead of a goatee. Oh and there is some more Dwarf Boot Camp but again, no Richard. Bright side there is Graham McTavish, Dean O'Gorman, Aidan Turner and Stephen Hunter. Luke Evans, looking like Orlando Bloom's Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean and Mandy Patkin's Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride, also makes an appearance.
