Birthday Boy

Some nice photo edits, except for the black and white photo, of the birthday boy that I was working on last night and before I knew it the time was late and so is this post. Always handsome no matter what year and like a fine wine he ages well.

Win an Autographed Bottle of Taittinger Jeroboam Champagne

Leave it to booze to get my attention and slightly out of my dumps, slumps, blues, whatever you would like to call it. To an extent I am kidding. Mainly it is a beautiful picture of Richard holding a 3 liter bottle of Taittinger Jeroboam champagne and signing the label. This was done last year when he was appearing in  The Crucible  at The Old Vic. It is through The Old Vic Twitter page that today I found the picture and in the comment section the link to the auction of Richard's bottle of champagne, as well as Kevin Spacey's and Kristin Scott Thomas' bottle of signed champagnes. The auction is to benefit The Old Vic Theatre Trust.

The photograph of Richard was taken by Graham Michael, who is company stage manager for the theatre and  photographer.

Richard and his eyes. Mesmerizing .

Best Actor Olivier - Not Richard

Well, Richard did not win the Olivier for Best Actor but lost to Mark Strong for 'A View From the Bridge'. I blew a raspberry  to express my thoughts at the Oliviers and Richard congratulated Mr. Strong (whoever he is).

Thoughts on Olivier Richard Armitage Q & A

This morning I thought I had slept too late to catch #AskArmitage live and as I started looking i was wondering if it was running late. Alas, tis not the case. The Q & A was shorter than what I expect a lot of us were anticipating. So I was a bit disappointed at really having not much to read ( loving his pictures) but as the day has gone on my common sense came and my thinking is Richard could only afford a short time to the Olivier Q & A because of possible time restraints of his job on 'Hannibal'.

But anyway it is sliced I did enjoy at least hearing a little bit from Richard because it was better then nothing. I also thanked the Olivier Awards and him for an early birthday present and then I followed the Olivier Awards as Lady M of Gisborne. I know, I know. I thought I already had but when I went to the awards Twitter page it said I was not following them and to think my questions were asked under Lady M. Oh well.

Same picture but one can never truly get enough Richard. I like how he now only has a little stubble. A five o'clock shadow.

My cropped picture from the Olivier Awards tweet.

Deja Neigh

Richard posted a picture of him on horseback this morning and I had a flashback to Robin Hood Academy when he was on horseback for what to me seems to be all those years ago but not as much as I feel really is all too long ago.

His thighs and tuchus are still gorgeous in tight jeans.

Quick Richard Armitage's Olivier Q & A Update

I did not think about the time of Richard's Q & A on Thursday. I know it is set for 2pm on Thursday April 2 but what I did not think of is that it for 2 pm in the United Kingdom. This oversight by me was brought to my attention when I read Richard Armtiage US question to the Olivier Awards as to what time the #AskArmitage  Q&A is in the U.S. and about daylight savings time in the United Kingdom. Richard Armitage was wonderful enough to provide the answer of that the time in the United Kingdom has changed to an hour ahead this past weekend and that the Q & A will start at 9 am Eastern time in the U.S. . So for those of us in the U.S., if we are not already awake and up for the day, set your clocks.

Olivier Awards Q&A with Richard Armitage

The Olivier Awards tweeted out that there is to be a Q & A with Richard Armitage on this Thursday April 2, 2015  @OlivierAwards at 2 pm and that we should submit our questions using #AskArmitage .
So let us put on our thinking caps and come up with some good questions for Richard.

New Jay Brooks Photos of Richard Armitage

Earlier today Jay Brooks released two new photos that he took during The Crucible photo shoot. Posted on Twitter by The Anglophile Channel and we do love our Anglophile Channel.

Very artistic. Almost like something a Dutch master would have painted. Maybe Rembrandt?

In this one Richard's head is angled a little towards the camera as opposed to the one that was originally released for The Crucible .

Richard Armitage #ALSA IceBucketChallenge

I tried to make a blog post of Richard's ALSA Ice bucket challenge yesterday but for Youtube did not have share options and when I tried doing it the old way here the video would not take. So I am a day late at as our Richard celebrated his 43rd birthday (yes I know I am late with that too) by being handsomely dressed in a three-piece suit to take the ALSA Ice Bucket Challenge that he was challenged to do by The Anglophile Channel. In addition to ALSA receiving money so will anthonynolan.org , a blood cancer charity and bone marrow registry for the U.K. and youngminds.org.uk    , which is for young people's mental health and well being.  I love Richard even more for doing this. If we didn't know before we really know now that Richard Armitage is a wonderful person.

Richard Armitage on the Breakfast Show!

A clip of The Crucible is shown in the video that is courtesy of The Anglophile Channel . It is mesmerizing. Powerful. Heartbreaking. Intimidating. This production is begging to be shown on television like The Hollow Crown or  King Lear. I also happen to think that it will be a travesty if Richard Armitage is not at least nominated for an Olivier. Be great if he could win it.
