Watched North & South
Well I finally got to watch North & South courtesy of youtube. All four episodes in full just wish I had watched it in Large Play instead of normal. It would have made seeing it a lot easier and better. Anyway, after having finally watched North & South on youtube I now want the book and dvd. Must be even better on a television screen as opposed to a computer screen.
With Margret Hale all I could think about was Renee Zellweger playing her because the somewhat earnestness and accent of Margret and Bridget Jones, except Bridget seemed to be slightly desperate. But then like Daniela Denby- Ashe, I don't think Renee would be strong enough co-star for Richard. For when he is on screen that is who your eyes and ears are drawn to, but North & South was still very, very good. Trying to pick one scene out as a favorite is impossible, well unless Richard's in them and then it is all of the above. But the one screen that just really got to me was the one in the train station. Oh My Gosh. Mr. Thornton went south to Margret's old home looking for her and she went back to Milton looking for him and then they meet in a train station in the middle and she had brought Henry Lennox, Lordy talk about someone having a stick up his butt. But John and Margret go and sit on a bench in the middle of the station and she is talking business and he is smiling and then he takes her hand and then she takes his one in both of hers and kisses it and then they kiss( I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about it ). Of course I was also thinking his mother would be absolutely scandalized if she knew about that kiss in public and would probably blame Margret.
But that kiss is what sealed the deal for me in wanting the dvd and book. And as I stated on twitter," If there should be another remake of 'Pride & Prejudice', Richard Armitage should be Mr. Darcy." But since then I have amended that thought to include Richard as Heathcliff from 'Wuthering Heights' and Edward Rochester of 'Jane Eyre'.

Petition for Richard III
As most of us know by now, Richard Armitage has wanted, for the longest time, to make a historically accurate film on the king for which he was named for, Richard III, the last member of the House of Plantagenet. It seems, however, that prospective financial backers, and production backers are too scared to help our Richard get this movie made. Therefore, the blog King Richard Armitage has put a petition up on their blog asking fans to sign to show potential backers that there is an audience for the movie and would like to see it made. According to King Richard Armitage, as of August 24 900 more signatures are needed. So fans of R.A. please do your part and help a bloke out and sign the petition. It's very painless. Honest. All that is required is your name and email address. Street address is optional.

Orcrist- Thorin Oakenshield Sword
Sooner or later this was bound to happen, a sword company has decided to sell look - a-likes of Thorin Oakenshield's sword, Orcrist. But not only are they doing that they are also selling look-a-likes of Gandalf's staff . Ridiculous !
The Hobbit Calendar
This week it was found out that Amazon.com is going to be selling 2013 The Hobbit : An Unexpected Journey Wall Calendar and a scroll calendar when it is released October 3, 2012. This was first reported by Heirs of Durin.
The front of the calendar has Bilbo with Gandalf, Thorin Oakenshield ( Martin Freeman, Sir Ian McKellan and ofcourse, Richard Armitage ) and a couple of other companions.
While the inside of the calendar has the aformentioned, it also boast Legolas, Elrond and Galadriel ( Orlando Bloom, Hugo Weaving and Cate Blanchett).

Spend Our Money!
We all know that when it comes to charity Richard is quite supportive and so are his fans. Now you may like to give but with his charities taking pounds you don't, credit card issue or the timing is not right and then you for get, that happens. Now, courtesy of me+richard armitage you can. All it takes is knowledge about Richard Armitage, King Richard III and a hopefully prospective film about Richard III. The quiz runs from August 22 to August 29. This is in support of what is called King Richard Armitage Week 2012. Plus giving the right answer will give you an entry into a drawing to determine which one of Richard's charities will get a donation of 91 Pounds Sterling. Now the money will either be donated in the winners name or anonymously, their choice. So go and give it a try or just for a read. Good Luck!

I had stated earlier that I have a forum, such as it is, on Richard. It is called Loving Richard, yes I know, it's a slightly corny name but I couldn't think of anything else. Anyway, here is the link to that If you want to check it out :http://lovingrichard.proboards.com/ New members are welcomed. Oh yes, I almost forgot! In honor of Richard's birthday this week the forum is opened for guest to reply to ongoing threads and they may start their own. But it is just for this week so if you do go and want to comment on something or just help out with another thread, you only have a short amount of time left.
Happy Birthday Richard
Somewhere in this world fans are celebrating Richard's 41st birthday. He may have thought turning 40 was bad and wanting to stay in bed, but for 41 I'd hide under the bed with covers pulled over my head. But that's just me. Hopefully our birthday boy is having a good day. Oh no...wait, Richard is in Michigan, so he still has a day left to be 40. Well, I hope he has a nice birthday tomorrow.
In honor of his birthday here are some photos of him:

Hello & Welcome to R A World
I'm somewhat new to the world of Richard Armitage, well at least visiting the blogs and getting starting a forum that doesn't seem to be going anywhere. But with that I still try. Now I am not affiliated with any of the other Armitage bloggers, except as a fan of theirs and the blogs are really good. I hope I can be a tenth as good as they are without getting frustrated. But that's my worry.
Anyway... Welcome to R A World and I hope you will enjoy it once I can get the settings how I want.

Thank You,

P.S. I just previewed the post before I publish it and Lord I need to get some color on here. Just don't want it to clash with Richard.
