Tuchus Tuesday - #1
So for me it is not quiet Tuesday but somewhere, out there, it is early Tuesday morning or maybe even Wednesday, the day us Richard Armitage fans have been counting down, The Hobbit premier. So I guess it is only appropriate that I start Tuchus Tuesday today or however it maybe.
Tuchus Tuesday is of course dedicated to Richard's posterior, derriere, butt, backside, a$$, tuchus or whatever else you may want to call it. I'm going to try and make this a weekly thing but sometimes life gets in the way so this may be occasionally, but I'll hope for twice a month if I can't do it weekly.
Now in some Richard will be bare bottomed but as worked up as a lot of us are about the upcoming The Hobbit premier I thought I would post a pictured of his tuchus clothed.

Guy of Gisborne - Love and War
I have been able to watch a few episodes of Robin Hoods first season. But I have only been able to find videos similar in theme of the one's with Guy and Marion and so now I will have to wait til after Christmas, more than likely into the New Year, and hope that Amazon still has it on sell, before I buy Robin Hood series.
I watched this video of Guy and Marion while taking a break from writing my previous post. It is beautifully and at times brutally heartbreaking.

Blizzard of The Hobbit Merchandise & News
I know it's been awhile since I last posted and a lot has been happening in thee way of The Hobbit merchandise and news. So much so, I don't know where to begin maybe with the shameful fact that I got sucked into The Hobbit merchandising vortex by buying a Thorin Oakenshield bookmark and key pen from Barnes & Noble and I swear this will be the only merchandising tie-in with the movie I will buy. Now the dvd of 'The Hobbit' is going to be a whole nother story, I will not deny myself that.
Now from here on out I maybe hop-scotching around a bit but I will definitely start with what is going to be happening Wednesday November 28 with the invasion of tourist from around the world coming to Wellington to get in on the very first 'The Hobbit' experience. Have fun, stay safe and don't pass out if you have a close encounter of the Richard Armitage kind.
Of course there is the tricked out Boeing 777-300 plane going to London to pick up some people that had something or another to do with the movie and I think some of them , one in particular, have their face painted on the outside of the plane. And as was stated by The Dallas Morning News website "Hey, Hobbit fans, isn't this precious?"
Oh and here is a time lapsed video of the plane being tricked out:
What else? Um...let's see... Well Richard did give an interview to Spanish Magazine AccionCine magazine
I almost forgot and this is VERY important, nowlive is going to livestream the Wellington premiere or at least interviews with cast members as they go down the red carpet in the States, at least, Tuesday November 27 at 10:30pm EST/7:30PST. So who knows maybe, just maybe and hoping and praying for a few words Richard.
Another interview Richard gave was to the Dominion Post in New Zealand, which I found on FEDORALADY's blog The Armitage Effect, who in turn got it from Heirs of Durin. Poor baby, when Peter Jackson offfered him the part of Thorin he had to pick himself up off the floor. Plus he was in New York when Superstorm Sandy hit and so he got stranded there for a bit.
Lord knows there is more but right now I can't think of the because I took a break and got distracted by a youtube video, that I am soooo going to post after this one.
I know that there are The Hobbit playing cards and cappuccino mixes. I think cappuccino mixes , which I can not find.
Now if I could just find the card with Thorin on it. I saw it on twitter and made the comment to some of my twitter friends about that must be the card we play stud poker with.
Oh and the gold coins with The Hobbit faces on them that is worth thousands but will become legal tender in New Zealand
So if any of you know of anything else that I missed let me know.

Nice little quiz tied into 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. I took the quiz twice and was a Hobbit both times. DRATS! I want to be Galadriel. Oh well.

Battle of the Guyliner
I first heard the term guyliner in context with Richard Armitage's portrayal of Guy of Gisborne and automatically thought that since Guy wore eyeliner it was therefore called 'guyliner' in his honor. Yeah. Well, I think I may have made a mistake in that thought because when I was looking around the internet about the Captain Hook on 'Once Upon a Time' and found a post in which Captain Hook is said to wear guyliner. Now the reality is this is nothing new. I mean my gosh every rock band of the 1980's wore 'guyliner' but were secure enough in their masculinity to call it what it really is...eyeliner.
So back to looking for Captain Hook, who I did find. He is Irish actor Colin O'Donahue and pictures of him as Hook got me to thinking that he looked a little familiar.
I immediately thought of Guy but Guy doesn't wear that much liner. Just can look like he is when it runs because he is all nice and sweaty...
Oh sorry was busy staring. Back to the subject..
Then I thought of Russel Brand, which is insulting to all that have been mentioned and to those writing and reading this post.
My final thought is Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow but tamed down quiet a bit. Not the full-on glam of the pirate.
I don't know maybe the two captains do wear the same amount of guyliner.
But they will never beat out my love, Guy.

The HOBBIT Soundtrack - Radagast the Brown
This is the first and maybe only online listen to The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey music by Howard Shore. It is title 'Radagast the Brown'. It starts of choral and the the strings and bells come in and then eventually you get the bass line coming in and if you let yourself go and let your mind wander it sounds like galloping horses and you, or at least I can, see the horses hooves mingled together galloping and kicking up dirt. I find it to be a beautiful piece and I hope y'all enjoy it as well. Oh and the 2 disc CD for this music goes on sale December 11, 2012.

Oh Wow! Amazing Thorin Animation
This is a really incredible piece of of art of Thorin. I know I called it animation, but it is much more than that. It is actually almost 3-D, but not the kind that comes out of the screen. Too bad. This came from Servetus at Me+Richard Armitage. In Servetus says that it takes a long time to load, but I didn't have that problem. I guess it just depends on what a person's computer feels like doing.
