Richard Armitage Advent calendar 2014 - Day 1

Advent Calendar time again. This is something that I started last year, a few days after the start of Advent, and would like to do it again this year. I will do my best to keep it up daily but if I don't I will once again do however many I need to do, in separate post, to keep things even until December 24th.

Richard Armitage Photos in Digital DA MAN Magazine

The digital issue of DA MAN magazine became available today with our handsome Richard Armitage on the digital cover and in between the digital pages. The photographer of the photo shoot
is Mitchell Ngyuen McCormack.

The pictures in this post come courtesy of Richard Armitage Central.

Nice shot.

The Making of a King (No kidding. Actually I think they are a late with this observation)

Hello blue eye.

Interview time. Love that Richard is a jeans and t-shirt guy, or should I say Guy, but I think we knew this. Love to hear him say it.

And what are you cooking up in your mind, Mr. Armitage?

Honestly, I'm not much for happy endings either.

This one I am not to crazy about but I do admit it is nice to see Richard in a different pose and no socks. To see him barefoot again. *Sighs*

Oh..*Deeply sighs* Just the right amount of stubble too.

There is something about the dark that makes Richard sexier and more lovable. (Oh Sir Guy... *THUD*)

Um..Uh..Oh dear that look.

Thorin Thursday #11 - The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies – Main Trailer – HD Official Warner Bros. UK

This is the final trailer to be released for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. It is also the best. From what I see the special effects in this trailer are better than what we have previously seen in the other trailers and dare I say Hobbit movies. The battle sequence in this seems to be more in line with The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, especially when the Orcs are running into Erebor. That scene reminds me of ants running into their nest.

Then we have Galadriel kissing an apparently wounded Gandalf on the forehead.  I know she was not mentioned in the book but I love that she is in the movie. Galadriel gives an wise and ethereal balance to the movie.

There is Saruman saying"Leave Sauron to me". Well I guess we know that Saruman turning his back on the good in the world and joining forces with Sauron is close at hand.

Of course we have our Thorin Oakenshield looking regal and heartbreaking at the same time. You can see it in his eyes he wants to protect his nephews and I think especially Kili.

The beautiful panoramic view of what appears to be Thorin standing on a stone and looking out at the water.
