My precious came yesterday. I haven't started reading it yet, but I hope to start soon. I will say it is not exactly how I thought it would be. In the description it said that The Hobbit was from 1938 and I thought that it was literally from 1938, as it turns out this is 1996 print of the book; which is a good thing because I was worried about getting a tie-in to the movie version. Really I don't know what that would be like, just worried that it would not be true to Mr. Tolkien's version. Another thing, I wasn't expecting it to be as short as in stature as itit is, but Thorin, Kili and Fili has taught us that good things do come in small packages.
